Food is great! Everything cooked fresh on the spot. However they currently only do takeout.
This place is a hidden gem. You should give it a go, the only downside is that the area is has a lot to be desired with a homeless encampment close by. Tho don't let that stop you from eating some fantastic food with excellent friendly service. I had the Beef Torta and Chicken Tamale. The torta was great, they don't put beans so the torta was not soggy. Like the other reviews say this place is unassuming with a homemade taste. I've been back once already and will continue to go out of my way for that torta.
Their menu has a variety of options and everything is super affordable! It is family owned and everyone is really nice. I've been here multiple times and the teppanyaki and the pozole have been my favorite so far. Whenever I stop by, my brother always asks to bring back a bacon double cheeseburger. Super homemade taste and will continue to come back!
This cute hidden gem that we found just by walking around in the Fashion District has great food (homemade taste and if they also offer canela just like grandmas did at home) las aguas frescas are good too and they have friendly staff. The seating area is small but it really doesnt matter. They have an A Rating at the door and they also have grubhub. They offer sushi and chinese plates. Definitely will come back on my next trip to L.A They get lots of phone orders phone was BUSYYYYY LOVE the prices and their food quality VERY clean place
Stopped by with my wife while doing some shopping nearby. The food was really good and had a homemade, cooked-by-mom taste. Definitely would recommend. I had the teppanyaki and an asada torta (it was a long shopping day) and it was crazy good. The staff was nice too :) PS. They must get a ton of phone orders, the phone kept ringing.
I stopped by this place for a quick bite. Everything looked so good that I couldn't decide on one plate! I tried their asada quesadilla, asada torta, chicken taquitos, chicken tamal, and agua frescas. The food is made with love and is great quality! Very reasonable prices and very friendly staff! I had to stop a second time! I tried their pancake combo and their avena. Their Teppanyakis is delicious! Shrimp is perfectly cooked and the teriyaki sauce is perfect! No complaints here! Do yourself a favor and go try it. You won't regret it!
My family and I were out in LA shopping and our boys needs their new suits tailored, this restaurant is like two doors down from the tailor shop so we thought, well let's just get a bite while we wait. DELICIOUS FRESH FOOD HERE! It's a small place but very clean and friendly place. Recommend this yummy place after a day of shopping!
